Gerade als sich Crocodile Dundee im New Yorker Großstadtdschungel zu langweilen beginnt, wird seine Freundin Sue in eine Drogenaffäre verwickelt. Von südamerikanischen Verbrechern verfolgt, flüchtet Dundee mit seiner Herzdame heimwärts in den vertrauten, australischen Busch, wo er seinen Heimvorteil auszunützen versteht. (ORF)

This just isn't as good as the first installment, among other reasons because it's incredibly drawn-out, and you have to make a lot of effort to digest whole story and endure until the end. Thanks to the return of the characters, it's still quite enjoyable, but it simply can't surpass the first installment. Paul Hogan benefits from his masculine character, which still works quite well for him.
