In Somnium

Linnéa (12) sneaks out in the evening to go to a party. The evening begins with innocent trials, while the night degenerates into a maelstrom of uncontrollable experiences and trials. On her journey, she experiences joy, freedom, infatuation, sexuality, intoxication, perversity and abuse in an ever-increasing chaos, before returning to the safe and homely. In Somnium is an artistic collaboration between the band Highasakite and Arild Østin Ommundsen. The film is based on three songs from Highasakite's latest album "Mother", and is a visual narrative driven by the music's lyrics and soundscape. (The Norwegian International Film Festival)
