Clue: Maltesergåten

Cecilia works at Perlen boarding house, together with her father, in the idyllic holiday paradise Skutebukta. The urban boy Leo moves into the boarding house with his mother. Cecilia and her best friend Une are skeptical of him to begin with. The trio finds a dead man lying on the beach below the guest house. He turns out to be a thief on the run. The stolen goods, which included the irreplaceable Maltese clock, was never found. The police call it a drowning accident, but the trio sense that there is something more behind it. This will be the start of an exciting and dangerous quest, where they must find out who is the murderer, at the same time as they follow the clues towards the Maltese clock.
