Die englische Königin Elizabeth II. ist auf Stippvisite in Los Angeles. Zum Schutz ihrer Majestät wird ihr der tollpatschige Lieutenant Frank Trebin (Leslie Nielsen) zur Seite gestellt. Durch Zufall kommt Trebin einem Mordkomplott des zwielichtigen Industriellen Vincent Ludwig auf die Spur und setzt alles daran, das geplante Attentat auf die Queen zu vereiteln. Da keiner seiner Kollegen Trebin Glauben schenkt, muss er irgendwie versuchen, diese im Alleinzug zu retten. (Verleiher-Text)
