Příběh zebry bez hřívy

Today the image of enormous herds of wild beasts roaming Africa is unfortunately far from the truth. Animals of Africa are disappearing irrevocably and this tragic fate is shared by the maneless zebra, which was brought to Czechia in the seventies by the zoologist Josef Vágner. The zebra thrived and reproduced in local zoos, but it remained uncertain if it continued to exist in the wild. Together with a Czech expedition of experienced zoologists, we travel to Uganda. The goal is to find out if the maneless zebra has managed to overcome the large hunting demand and survive in a war-torn country, and if it did, then contribute to its preservation.
