A young entrepreneur is rejected by his mistress. To overcome his disappointment, he changes his identity, heading for the Riviera in the guise of a barman. The new life puts him in a series of scrapes but also has its rewards, since he ends up falling for a young aristocrat who is a widow – and extremely wealthy. (Locarno Festival)
