Another Lynch experiment, this time significantly newer. I confess that I have no idea what to make of it. It's like Lynch is experimenting to see what can be filmed, what can be inserted into a scene, and what impressions it will evoke in the viewer. In the background, you can again hear that noise that is so characteristic of Lynch. It's as if there was never meant to be silence in our world. Darkened Room is a film where you can search for everything possible, but I wouldn't be surprised if you find absolutely nothing there. I'm not far off from that either. ()
